Reverse Seared NY Strip Steak
INGREDIENTS
NY Strip Steak
W Sauce
Soy Sauce
Cookinpellets.com Grilled Steak Seasoning
1 Stick Butter, unsalted
3-4 Cloves garlic
Fresh Rosemary
Fresh Thyme
Cookinpellets Longhorn Blend Pellets

This will become your favorite way to cook a NY strip steak. Seasoned with Cookinpellets.com Grilled Steak Seasoning then smoked on your pellet grill using Cookinpellets.com Longhorn Blend, this steak is flavorful and delicious! Smoke On!
INSTRUCTIONS
Pre-Cook
- Remove the steaks from the packaging
- Pat dry with a paper towel and place them in a bag
- Pour W Sauce and a little soy sauce over the steaks to create a marinade
- Place in the fridge for at least 2 hours or overnight for best results
- Remove the steaks from the marinade
- Pat dry and let the steaks come to room temp
- Season steaks with Cookinpellets.com Grilled Steak Seasoning.
- Fill the hopper of your pellet grill with Cookinpellets.com Longhorn Blend Pellets and preheatCookBake for about three hours and rotate it around the centermost rack on the grillYou know they are done when they don't bend, aren't sticky, and look leathery
Cook

- Remove the steaks from the grill and crank the grill temp up to 500 degrees
- Place a cast iron skillet on the grill
- Melt the butter
- Add thyme, rosemary, and garlic to the cast iron skillet
- Place the steaks in the skillet and sear them.
- Spoon butter over the steaks until they reach an internal temp of 135 degrees
Post-Cook
- After cooking, allow the steaks to rest for 15 minutes before slicing
- Enjoy! Smoke On!
