Smoked Beer Can Chicken

- Beer of Your Choice We used Busch Light Apple

Instructions
Prep
- Remove chicken from packaging and pat dry.
- Remove giblets and anything else from inside the cavity of the chicken.
- Apply a light coating of olive oil all over the chicken.
- Season the chicken with the seasoning of your choice.
- Put your chicken on the beer can chicken holder.
- Tuck the wings behind the chicken.
- Apply rub to touch up any spots that were messed up when putting the chicken on the beer can chicken holder.
Cooking
- Fill the hopper on your pellet grill with Cookinpellets.com 100% Black Cherry Pellets.
- Set the smoker to 325º.
- Once the smoker is to temp, put your chicken in the smoker.
- Smoke your beer can chicken until it reaches an internal temperature of 165º F in the thickest part of the chicken breast (Approximately 1.5-2 hours).
- Once the chicken reaches 165º F in the thickest part of the breast, remove it from the smoker and let it rest for 10 minutes.
- After the chicken has rested, remove the chicken from the beer can chicken holder and carve the chicken.
- Eat and enjoy!!!
