- Yellow Onions
- Dale's Liquid Steak Seasoning (or your favorite liquid steak seasoning)
- black pepper
- Salt

Instructions
Prep
- Preheat your pellet grill to 350 degrees
- Fill the hopper of your pellet grill with Cookinpellets.com Apple Mash Pellets.
- Peel all the skin off the onions.
- Cut the top off the onion, so it lays flat.
- Use a large, sharp knife to slice down the center of the onion 3/4 of the way down; turn 90 degrees and slice again. Keep slicing each section in half until you have 8 sections. Be careful not to cut through the bottom of the onion.
- Spread open the layers of the onion, it should look like a flower.
- Place the onion on a piece of foil. Shape the foil into a bowl to hold the onion.
- Drizzle the onion with Dale's Steak Seasoning.
- Drizzle with melted butter.
- Season with Salt and Pepper.
- Close the foil bowl around the onion.
Cook
- Place the onions on your pellet grill for 20 minutes.
- After 20 minutes serve as an appetizer or with your favorite smoked meat or veggies.
