You'll never go wrong with these pellets - very consistent flavor!
This blend of hickory, hard maple, cherry and apple pellets are very fragrant the minute you open the bag to put them in the hopper of the pellet grill. I was very fortunate to get a bag of these sent along with my REC-TEC pellet grill to try and was very pleased to see that Amazon carries them with Prime shipping. They burn very cleanly and provide very consistent flavor in whatever you are grilling/smoking. I can tell the difference every time I grill with these because the flavor is simply incredible compared to other brands I have tried in the past. I have tried these pellets with chicken, pork, steaks, etc and the flavor is always phenomenal. The best part is that the pellets are shipped directly to me - there are very few stores in my area that sell pellets for grills, and certainly not something of this caliber. I would recommend these pellets to anyone with a pellet grill without hesitation.

Night and Day difference compared to the Factory Brand Pellets
If you are at all cooking something slow - and - low, get these pellets now. I was very disappointed in the amount of smoke produced by the branded pellets that I purchased with my Grill. I wanted a nice hearty bbq-joint deep smoke to my meat, and got just a hint of smoke to my meat after cooking at 180 for a few hours.Much research brought me to these pellets. These provide an awesome robust flavor when used at low heat on the pellet grill. My ribs had a beautiful smoke ring. My whole chickens were nice and smokey. My sausages tasted like they'd been hanging out in a forest fire (in a good way). For high temperatures, anything over 275 or so, there is really no difference and you may as well just use up the remaining factory branded pellets to keep the grill hot. The smoke produced at that temperature is pretty minimal and there is no difference, at least to my taste buds, between these and the factory pellets with all of their fillers.I'm hooked now. I should just have a pallet of these bad boys delivered to my house every few months or so.If you know of an even better pellet to smoke with, I'm all ears, but for now this is it.UPDATE: I had to drop a star from my review. I have a Traeger Pro Elite grill and live where it usually doesn't rain very often. We got a good dose of rain just after Thanksgiving, and I forgot to put my cover over my grill after the turkey was cooked (not sure if it would've helped). While I didn't find any standing water anywhere in my pellet hopper, I found that some of the pellets had turned to sawdust and formed back together into a giant pellet in my hopper. That wasn't a huge problem in itself, but the lump of pellets that were in the auger did the same thing and the motor would not turn the auger at all. I had to tear apart my feed system and really work to break up the lump of wood that had formed around the auger. Took far too long, and needless to say I didn't get to smoke my chicken that night either. I'm not sure if some rain water was able to seep into the grill (I didn't see any standing water at all) or if it was just the moisture in the air, but be careful with these as once they are broken down and reform they become very hard to break apart. I might start emptying my hopper after each use, especially in the "winter" months.

These pellets were not the issue and worked fine.
Update: My prior review was incorrect. The back fire issue was tracked down to having an improper air gap on the output tube. We had set the hat too low which caused excessive heat to build in the unit. These pellets were not the issue and worked fine.

Simply the BEST!!
I've been using these pellets for a while now and have ALWAYS had great results. What prompted this review is that I have recently been trying other brands and they have finally started showing up in local stores. I have had a pellet smoker for years but unable to find any pellets locally and I do most of my shopping on amazon anyway so these CookinPellets were my best option. Lately I have been trying different brands that have been showing up in stores and I must say that the CookinPellets are much better that any others that I have tried. Both in flavor, smoke and how long they seem to last(slower burn). I use a Louisiana Grills pellet smoker. This bag fills up 1 and a half 5 gallon buckets that I use to store them. And they generate the best smelling and tasting smoke. And also a great price with prime shipping. I will keep stocked up and not use anything else as long as its available.

Best pellets I've used to date
So far these are the best pellets I've used. They have a pleasant aroma when burning and seem to feed and run well through my Green Mountain Grill. I thought I might taste the smokiness in the cooked meats a little more prominently, but I don't seem to pick up a lot of smokey taste. The price seems very reasonable and I am now on my 3rd order.

I found a winner!
I've been using Traeger pellets from my local store. At $19 for a 20lb bag, it's about the going price in my area. Since the type of wood really doesn't matter much, I thought I'd give this a try. I put 26 lbs of Boston butt on the smoker and filled the hopper with these pellets.-They burned as clean as anything else and didn't leave much ash/dust.-They maintained my 225º temp throughout.-The smoke flavor was that of all the other pellets I've used. With my rub, my injection and my sauce this wood pellet option is solid. The smoke ring was all there and the flavor is what I would expect. I have also smoked whole chicken and brisket as well, both flawlessly.I read some reviews that said these were on the dry side, and I'd have to agree. However, it made no difference in my cooks. I live in Florida where our weather changes on a dime and can really affect temp. This held up.

Great pellets at a great price
Great pellets and great price. This is the second bag I've purchased and it had small crack in the bag so some of the pellets had spilled out. It's not a problem, since I'm not eating the pellets.

Almost great..
I'm liking these pellets so far for flavor and price. My only downside is that I am convinced that they burn more quickly because they don't have the hardwood filler. Ironically, that's also a reason to like them better. I have a GMG Daneil Boone and am currently mixing these with hickory pellets I get at Academy Sports that have more hardwood. The flavor is working for me, plenty of smoke, and the burn rate is reasonable. I'll continue to play around with it because that's what I do, but these pellets will always be a mainstay!

Get You Some!
These are the only pellets I will buy. Having them available on Amazon is awesome. I use both this product and their 100% Hickory. I like the Perfect Mix for white meats like chicken, turkey, fish, and maybe pork loin, chops, etc because it's a more mild smoke flavor and not as intense as 100% Hickory. Having the blend of fruit woods and hickory really compliments these meats. HOWEVER, I also use the 100% Hickory for bolder meats like beef steaks of any cut, beef brisket, beef/pork ribs, and my all time favorite Boston pork butt. I have done a 15 hour smoke at 225 deg F for a Boston Butt using straight 100% Hickory and I love it. However if you don't like strong hickory flavor on long smokes, you can either do a 50/50 blend of the Perfect Mix and 100% Hickory, or fill the hopper up 25% - 50% with 100% Hickory and then followed by the Perfect Blend to the top, start the Traeger at midnight and let her go for 15 hours plus! I now keep on hand at all times the Perfect Mix, 100% Hickory, and a bucket of the 50/50 blend of both. Both of these products work awesome with any type of vegetables. Now, stop reading and Get You Some!
