Made me out a hero
After looking at a crap ton of reviews I bought the camp chef pellet smoker and went into looking for pellets. Everywhere I looked this brand kept coming up so I ordered a bag to try out. When it came in I unloaded some traeger pellets I got when I purchased the grill (thank goodness I got the camp chef that makes unloading a breeze) and reloaded with this stuff. I threw some NY strips on for everybody and hit high smoke and walked away for an hour came back upped to 350 cook and waited till they hit 135 internal temp and took them off. When the meat came off they were RED not a raw red they looked they had come off a professional pit smoked rig at a barbeque joint. They were great tasting and very tender so yes I would recommend these pellets to anyone with a pellet smoker. Also I would recommend to everyone to get an airtight container to keep your spare pellets in so they stay fresh and possibly an scoop to get them in your hopper. After I tried these pellets I ordered a second bag and a container & scoop I will post the links to what I got down below (FYI the container will house 2 full bags).Bin - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00186O0UQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1Scoop - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000LNS418/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

love these pellets
These are my go to pellets for my weekly, if not daily smoking adventures. From brisket to shoulder to even pizza, these pellets get the job done amazingly. There is a but of ash after a long smoke but other than that I have zero complaints. You guys have a permanent customer.

Best bang for the buck without compromising quality
I have tried them all and I always come back to Cookin' Pellets. The price for the 40lb. Competition Blend is competitive in itself. The mix of wood is versatile for all of our cooking needs: chicken, turkey, brisket, pork, steak, etc. Sometimes, if I want a more pronounced Texas flavor, I will mix in some Mesquite (from another brand) or Hickory (from Cookin Pellets) pellets. I like how everything in this product is natural and from quality select woods; I avoid woods with artificial flavors and oils added. I'm not into to that mockery.I noticed that the pellets are smaller now which I am ok with since I feel that they probably feed better through the auger of my Pit Boss Smoker. No quality control issues noticed in the bags that I have been through throughout the years. When shipped through Amazon, the big 40 lb plastic bag comes boxed inside a cardboard box from the factory. Be careful when cutting the box open as you may cut the plactic bag holding the pettets.

Great all around pellets, great value
Love these pellets for my smoker. They work well, they are reasonably priced, and you can't beat the price for a quality pellet and getting them delivered to your door.
-
Great pellets! A bit pricey
The pellets provided great smoke however they are a little pricey compared to other hardwood alternatives

Awesome with a little caution
There are only a couple downsides I have experienced with these pellets. The first is excessive ash which is not a big deal to suck out after a long smoke. The second is on my Green Mountain Grills Davy Crockett smoker, these pellets won't ignite and I have to manually empty the fire box and fill with an easier pellet to ignite like one of the GMG mixes. Once ignited they are good to go though and seem to burn pretty efficiently compared to other types and brands.I have not experienced any of the plastic pieces in the pellets like others have noted. Overall the smell and flavor of these is delicious!!! If they were able to ignite in my smoker, I would buy these ever time!

Kept me from trashing my Traeger Timberline 850
I have a Traeger 850 Timberline, which has been borderline junk for the last three years. In the previous two weeks, I've been researching Kamados to step my BBQ game up and finally have BBQ with some smoke in it.I read about these pellets on a BBQ forum and figured what the heck, let's give the Traeger one last chance before unloading AR-15 magazines in it before taking it to the dump and buying a Kamado Big Joe III.Wow!My first cook with these pellets was a simple pack of brats, and they looked and tasted amazing! They were so good, even though it's freezing here, I bought two racks of baby backs this morning that is on the 850 now. We've been using Traeger pellets for years, and I have about 80 pounds that will be going in my dumpster at work tomorrow! It looks like these pellets just saved me the better part of $2000 to replace a mediocre Chinese made pellet smoker.

Old Reliable
Very good pellet blend. Burns well. Made for a great brisket on my first long cook on my Green Mountain Jim Bowie.
