Perfect Mix Wood Pellets – Our #1 Bestseller!

Get ready for the ultimate grilling experience with our Perfect Mix wood pellets, an exclusive blend of premium hardwoods: Hickory, Cherry, Hard Maple, and Apple. This is the go-to choice for grill masters and restaurants alike, delivering unbeatable flavor every time.

Why It’s Perfect:

  • Versatile flavor: Balanced for short cooks or long smokes—robust like hickory, but smoother than apple for a crowd-pleasing taste.
  • Everyday excellence: Our team at CookinPellets.com uses this as our daily driver, and our restaurant customers swear by it!
  • Pure quality: 100% premium hardwoods—no oak, alder, or softwood fillers. Unlike some brands that sneak in 80% cheaper woods, we keep it real.
  • High performance: Low moisture, minimal dust, and high BTU (averaging 8500+) for a clean, hot burn.
  • All-purpose smoke: Enhances everything from brisket to veggies with a rich, consistent smoky flavor.

No Compromises, Just Flavor. This isn’t just a pellet—it’s a game-changer. Whether you’re smoking low and slow or searing quick, the Perfect Mix delivers premium results at a price that’s hard to beat. Taste why it’s our most popular pellet!

Great Cookin Pellets for the money and for your smoker!

I've used these pellets for Rib's and Brisket and really like the flavor given off to those smoked meats. Never had any problems with the pellets and the price is a solid valuet. The Pefect Mix does not have as specific a flavor profle as hickory or cheery wood so if that is what you are looking for then use one of those but for all around smoking of most all of your meets the perfect mix is great. Rich smokey flavor that isn't sharp or overpowering.

Great pellets if price is a non factor.

If these were priced competitively it's all I would use. Just too overpriced though

    The Only Pellets I Use!

Posted by UnmannedFarmer on May 7th 2020

Awesome pellets to cook with! In total I've purchased almost 400 lbs in just over a year. They have a great flavor for any meat, but might be a little light for brisket if you like heavy smoke flavor. Always a nice smoke ring on all my meats. I do steaks on 220F super smoke for 1/2 hour and perfect flavor accent to do reverse searing. My wife and I were going to start competitions and catering this year and was hoping they would sponsor, but the lockdowns have put a kabash on that for now. I've recommended these pellets to over 100 people at tailgates, social media, and friends. Hope they keep making them. If you can't tell, I highly recommend!

    Made me out a hero

After looking at a crap ton of reviews I bought the camp chef pellet smoker and went into looking for pellets. Everywhere I looked this brand kept coming up so I ordered a bag to try out. When it came in I unloaded some traeger pellets I got when I purchased the grill (thank goodness I got the camp chef that makes unloading a breeze) and reloaded with this stuff. I threw some NY strips on for everybody and hit high smoke and walked away for an hour came back upped to 350 cook and waited till they hit 135 internal temp and took them off. When the meat came off they were RED not a raw red they looked they had come off a professional pit smoked rig at a barbeque joint. They were great tasting and very tender so yes I would recommend these pellets to anyone with a pellet smoker. Also I would recommend to everyone to get an airtight container to keep your spare pellets in so they stay fresh and possibly an scoop to get them in your hopper. After I tried these pellets I ordered a second bag and a container & scoop I will post the links to what I got down below (FYI the container will house 2 full bags).Bin - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00186O0UQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1Scoop - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000LNS418/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

    love these pellets

Posted by David Schmidt on Apr 27th 2020

These are my go to pellets for my weekly, if not daily smoking adventures. From brisket to shoulder to even pizza, these pellets get the job done amazingly. There is a but of ash after a long smoke but other than that I have zero complaints. You guys have a permanent customer.

Best bang for the buck without compromising quality

Posted by Texas KnowHow on Apr 25th 2020

I have tried them all and I always come back to Cookin' Pellets. The price for the 40lb. Competition Blend is competitive in itself. The mix of wood is versatile for all of our cooking needs: chicken, turkey, brisket, pork, steak, etc. Sometimes, if I want a more pronounced Texas flavor, I will mix in some Mesquite (from another brand) or Hickory (from Cookin Pellets) pellets. I like how everything in this product is natural and from quality select woods; I avoid woods with artificial flavors and oils added. I'm not into to that mockery.I noticed that the pellets are smaller now which I am ok with since I feel that they probably feed better through the auger of my Pit Boss Smoker. No quality control issues noticed in the bags that I have been through throughout the years. When shipped through Amazon, the big 40 lb plastic bag comes boxed inside a cardboard box from the factory. Be careful when cutting the box open as you may cut the plactic bag holding the pettets.

Love these pellets for my smoker. They work well, they are reasonably priced, and you can't beat the price for a quality pellet and getting them delivered to your door.
