Smoked Tri Tip

Instructions
Pre Cook
- Fill the hopper of your pellet grill with Cookinpellets.com Longhorn Blend Pellets.
- Set pellet smoker to 275°F.
- Apply black pepper to the tri-tip.
- Apply African curry jerk to the tri-tip.
- Let tri-tip sweat on the counter for 30 minutes.
Cook
- Place tri-tip onto grill grates.
- Insert a temp probe Into the thickest part of the meat.
- Set temp alarm To 165°F.
- Remove the tri-tip from the grill and wrap it in butcher paper.
- Place the tri-tip back onto the grill.
- Reinsert the temp probe & set the alarm to 205°F.
Post Cook
- Bring the tri-tip inside and let it rest for at least an hour.
- Remove the tri-tip from the wrap.
- Slice and Enjoy!
