- 2 Sweet Onions
- BBQ sauce of your choice
- 1 pack bacon Regular Cut or Thin Cut
- 1 TBSP All Purpose Seasoning
- Cookinpellets 100% Hickory Pellets

Prep
- Preheat the pellet grill to 250 degrees.
- Fill the hopper of your pellet grill with your favorite Cookinpellets.com pellets. I recommend Cookinpellets.com 100% Hickory Pellets.
- Cut off the ends of the onions and remove the outer onion paper and skins.
- Cut to desired rounds, the thinner the crunchier.
- Brush BBQ sauce on rings.
- Wrap the onion slices with the bacon, stretching the bacon as you go.
- Secure the bacon with toothpicks, the bacon will shrink to fit the onion.
- Sprinkle the bacon-wrapped onion with your favorite all-purpose seasoning.
Cook
- Put a pan of onion rings into the grill for 30 minutes.
- After 30 minutes, then transfer the rings to the grill grates for an additional 30 minutes.
- Once there are about five mins left, you can top it with more BBQ sauce if you want.
- Let them cool and enjoy! Smoke On!
